It was such an eventful week in Erie media that I covered only one of the stories I thought I’d be covering! We have multiple conversations going on right now: the YouTube video of the Erie policeman that has now received national attention, the big changes for the news staff at WICU and WSEE, and we haven’t even begun to discuss the newspaper’s price increase and the current radio ratings battle (or lack thereof!).
Let’s keep talking, remembering that constructiveness and civility are key. You can always make a private comment via email at joel@nataliemedia.com or through Twitter @pressandtower.

Deep Background for May 3-9, 2009
First, let me say “Thank You!” to all of our readers of The Press and Tower, as we celebrated our biggest week in terms of traffic last week, with April our biggest month since our launch. I appreciate your participation and support of the blog.
We’ve been talking a bunch about many topics and sometimes viewpoints tend to be heated, so I want to reinforce the civility value we hold dear here at P&T. Each commenter deserves to be heard, so whether you agree with a point of view or not, it’s important that you keep the discourse respectful and with good cheer. Ad hominem attacks have no place here.
So in that spirit, embrace the chaos!
