I just watched the Zoo Parade and noticed the Lilly stations were not among the units.

New blog in town called Erie Crackhead.

He hopes to prevent others from falling in his life trap and avoid crack. He presents an eclectic argument of life as an addict. Been reading this guy a bit and came to a small blurb he wrote on Erie, amidst his turmoiled life. Listen in on ERIE:

“And no money is owed any drug dealer. That is a very good thing.

With that in mind there should be an opportunity to get more of my stuff (his household) sent up from Dallas. I’ll also be able to make a contribution to the Mission. Giving some money to the Mission is only fair. They have fed me 4 or 5 meals a week for the past few months.

Uh, this is a guy hooked on crack.
He gets about $250 to $300 a month.
On two other separate posts, he notes that nobody starves in Erie, for there are many public and private places to get a meal.

But in THIS post, he admits he goes to the City Mission 4 or 5 days a week to eat. And out of his budget of less than $300 a MONTH, he makes a contribution to the Mission and sees it as only fair,... for they fed him 4 or 5 meals a week for a few months.

It is enough to make you hang your head and cry in shame that a guy with so little gives so much.

A community and their way of life MUST be calculated with the facts on how they treat the least among us.
And here we have the least among us, contributing what little he has, to the City Mission to feed folks.

How did the mighty George Gallup Poll System miss that?

Dignity and Respect are written on the tablets of the hearts of the people in this community as in no other town in the nation.
Even our crackheads donate money to help the less fortunate than them.

Is he in poverty zone? You bet.
Does he clean his clothes daily and appear at a public library to write warnings in a blog to make sure others in town do not fall into his trap? Yup!
Even our crackheads donate money to help the less fortunate than them.

Welcome to the hearts of folks you find anywhere you look in Erie, PA.

Gallup’s Poll on Erie is Gallup’s Poll on Tom Dewey defeating Harry Truman.
    They are both despicable lies!

I want to add that on many occasions I blast the ETN, and mostly for good reasons. However, I do not understand the world of crackheads, and this blog is giving insight into current day-to-day life on being a crackhead, and living with it, in our town.

I want to thank the Erie Times-News for adding this blog FIRST in town, and presenting insight that even our folks in trouble have incredible character to build on.
