So…did you get lost by the finale of “Lost”? Or are you more interested in who is victorious on “Dancing With The Stars” or “American Idol”?
Maybe you’re just like me; fussing with my rabbit ears and trying to figure out which rooftop antenna to buy and what else I’m going to do with the $80 a month I’m saving by dropping cable.

Big breakthrough at GoErie this week.
If you read Pat Howard and would like to comment on his winsome wordsmithing, SURPRISE…you can NOT.
Here is his latest entry, with a comment-less zone below:

But CyberInk puts out a blog called Street View,
(I wonder if Google will sue them for copping Google’s “Street View”)and the blog is designed to snap a bunch of local pictures in the hopes you will buy them.
But at the bottom of Street View – CyberInk Blog, you can now comment.
This gives credence to the revival of comment possibility, and credence to the denial of comment ability, wherever ETN/CyberInk desire or prefer.
As Kevin Cuneo would say, “I think the Times-News got that comment policy exactly right”…..and he would be exactly wrong anew. If you have the ability to accept comments at GoErie, and you have it in place online now, then simply put that little ditty area at the base of everything.
Here is the first comment area I have seen on GoErie on their own effort. Sit down for safety, before clicking the link and falling down in shock:

Perhaps in a twist of new thinking at CyberInk, comments are “OK” if you will buy something.
But this week will go down in CyberInk history as the week that you could comment direct, immediately, no rewritten Letter-To-The-Editor as approved by ETN that is so loved by the community writers, and maybe even have dialog.
Welcome to the 21st century GoErie.
It is ten years late, but it is a start.
Who wants to be first to comment at GoErie?
Lead on!
I enjoyed “Lost,” and have been hooked since the beginning in 2004. I had my fingers crossed, though, for the finale: J.J. Abrams was one of the creators, and since “Lost” premiered he’s given us “Cloverfield” (stupid) and “Star Trek” (bad plot, lazy writing, lame villain, lens flare, lens flare, lens flare). But the “Lost” finale worked. Time to NetFlix season 1 and start all over again…off to The Orchid! Or should I go to the Black Rock? Take a boat to Hydra Island? Maybe a visit to Bernard and Rose’s cabin…
How slow a television news day is Monday? Interesting to see recaps of Sunday afternoon’s, and often Saturday’s, stories in the middle of Monday’s 11pm shows at times.
I agree, John. It’s a bit frustrating to check the RSS feeds for goerie, WSEE, and the rest for three or four days in a row hoping for a glimmer of something new, but finding nothing but the same old stale non-updates.
