The "#1" weather dude says no touchdown. (Officials are reviewing to see if the ball in fact crossed the plain) All I'm looking for is consistancy. If it turned out to be nothing and I saw the noon but missed the 6PM, I'm out of luck Huh? I think the viewers of Venango county and the entire DMA deserve more that's all. Amelia Segal DID in fact say "CONFIRMED tornado on the ground near Oil City." At 5pm Tom Atkins showed some pictures from Steve "MainStreet" Marshall - WJET resident storm chaser/stringer. Tom mentioned a "possible radar indicated" Tornado but "no touchdown or damage" near Oil Creek State Park. So it was mentioned at 5pm - by 11pm it was old news and no need to mention it. Move along. My bet is that it wound up amounting to nothing and that Atkins was more concenrned about the big snowfall headed our way and prepping the viewer for that.
