Poll: what does 4th quarter advertising look like?

Last week, we asked about the impact of one-man-bands on television news teams. Nearly three in four of our poll respondents said that any adoption of the one-man-band strategy will just mean more layoffs and more work for the remaining reporters, but not more news content on our stations.

This week we enter the month when businesses traditionally layout their ad plans for the all-important fourth quarter. Given the current economic context, the flow of advertising dollars to Erie media all year has been weak. So what are your hopes for Q4?

Will Q4 2009 advertising in the Erie market be better, the same, or worse than last year?

  • Worse (43%, 9 Votes)
  • Better (33%, 7 Votes)
  • Same (24%, 5 Votes)

Total Voters: 21
