What can we say? I had a feeling that this would be a big week for Erie media, but I honestly had no clue how momentous it would be.
Not only have we been trying and talking about the elimination of almost all on and off-air personnel at WSEE, but we haven’t even broached the whole Buzz Andrezewski/Spotlight TV debacle!
As always, your support and participation in this blog is greatly appreciated and never taken for granted. If you need to go really “deep background,” as I’m afraid several folks are thinking that way even now, you can message me in confidence at joel@nataliemedia.com or DM @pressandtower on Twitter.
BTW, I hope that you are following me on Twitter, because as I wrote earlier in the week, that’s where you’ll get up-to-the minute media news that may or may not appear on posts on the blog.
Embrace the chaos!

I would say that if Spotlight TV is trying to make a good name for itself, it failed miserably. The gutter language at the beginning gave such a poor impression that I can’t imagine anyone paying them to do a real job.
On top of the poor showing…Bussiere is seen wearing medals that he probably has no idea what they mean, and is in violation of federal law by trying to pass himself off as a veteran. He’s really shown himself to be more of a nutcase than a true journalist.
Perhaps now Buzz “lightyear” will go away for good and leave politics to someone who has a clue! (although in Erie, I have no idea who that might be.)
That what passes for mainstream media in Erie, chose to distribute Bussiere “production” validates it, and insures that there will be more of it. Perhaps, in a race to cover the fall to the bottom, in terms of decorum the media has accelerated the onset of its own problems.
What happened to the days when a Bussiere would have been totally ignored?
“If it’s not a story we’ll make one out of it”, kind of like “It if bleeds, it leads.”
Christian Lestat Bussiere was a significant portion of the contribution to Erie Times News Forums for years. He produced movies of himself and women at parties, and then linked it at the Forum.
Juvenile would be a compliment.
Frat party would be an elevation.
Like Lou_Tullio, a pseudo as rich in thought as pal, Ida Tarbell, another pseudo in those long dead Forums, Bussiere was everywhere back then.
Perhaps he was the cause of crash at GoErie, or viruses on your computer. He linked himself to himself ad nauseum.
He disappeared when Topix was born to replace the continually spammed and crashing Forums. Porno on your screen popping up went into decline as you visited GoErie.
Topix itself became a portal to Hell and GoErie, having failed to monitor either their Forums originally, or their Topix contributions, ended up with a concoction of the very worst humanity has to offer.
Eventually, Topix had to be jettisoned as raw poison.
Bloggers showed Bussiere with the Buzz nutty-isms.
GoErie and ETN are deathly afraid of the internet, and specifically bloggers and Tweet competition.
The Times was even chided by Erie Blogs (rightfully so) for taking credit of this crap, when it did not originate with ETN at all. They were very late to the Buzz party, but they are late to every news event.
(Someone should tell ETN that Tom Ridge has declined to run against Arlen next year. I am not sure they covered Tom’s exit).
Bussiere is very proud of this moment…..and his fame with Jerry Springer. THAT should tell you everything you need to know on how new media can become slime as easily as old media.
This crap should have been posted by no one.
it is gutter politics by gutter dwellers.
Here is Lestat himself everywhere.

Link failure, sorry.
Type Christian Lestat Bussiere into Google and be overwhelmed. (Lower case is fine; he is after all, a lower case).
Here is one in his series: Funny Pictures

Just watching the 6pm sports on TV-12. Mike Ruzzi looks much improved. Kudos to Channel 12 for getting the lighting right. Well done!
