which is virtually identical. According to the caption, the transmitter in that photo was used until last week at WDLI 17 in Canton OH.

Yeah, but QLN-FM’s RCA xmitter that was there when I was there in 1973 is STILL in the building!!!

It wasn’t as old as the old WQLN analog transmitter which has since left the building.

Gee, that transmitter didn’t look too old. Hey JET engineers, when was that box installed? Or was that just the exciter? (Tells you how much I know about TV!)

I would guess that he was glad that he sold the station and cashed out of the local small-market TV business back when he & John did. He was and is a very shrewd businessman.

I didn’t see the actuality. I hope they interviewed Myron on this auspicious occasion. What did he have to say ? Were any other luminaries present for the Channel 24 analog shutdown ?
