		<description>Here&#039;s something you don&#039;t see everyday:  According to Broadcasting and Cable Online, Gannet has issued a companywide order that most employees take a one-week furlough during the first quarter, INCLUDING EVEN STATION GMs.

From the article:

&#039;The recording on a Gannett station general manager&#039;s voice mail earlier this month was jarring.

“I&#039;ll be out on furlough the week of February 2 and will not be checking voice mail,” the GM said in a terse tone. “I will not be returning calls...I apologize but by law am not allowed to do any work during my week of furlough.” &#039;
