Before we start looking ahead, lets take one more look back together at 2008. What was the biggest Erie media story of the past year. Take a second and weigh in.

Was it the buyouts at the Times-News? The layoffs of long-standing Erie radio personalities? The passing of Jack Tirak? Or maybe the rollout of digital television in anticipation of 2/17/09?

    Losing Jack is the top story media wise of 2008. Second would be WQLN going digital only followed by all of the great local radio talent being fired for budgetary reasons.
