    NEW YEARS DAY…..PENN STATE ……ROSE BOWL….ALRIGHT……OOPS IT’S ON WJET TV….NO H.D….NICE JOB 24….GUESS I’LL WATCH SOMETHING ELSE.

  2. Doug says:

JET-TV’s over-the-air digital signal has been passing the HD feed to viewers with an antenna for some time now. Sorry cable subscribers; you might want to hook up the antenna and adjust it for this game since it may not be on Time Warner. The only issue and problem is that JET’s digital signal isn’t full-power; good luck trying to get reception.

  3. Doug says:

    Clarifying my comment above.
“…since it may not be on Time Warner.” should be “…since it may not be on Time Warner Cable in HD quality.”

By the way, Merry Christmas everyone! Let’s look forward to a better year in Erie media.

  4. JIMBO says:

DOUG, THANKS, I STAND CORRECTED. I WILL NOW DIRECT MY ANGER TOWARDS T/W CABLE, AND APOLOGIZE TO WJET TV. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

  5. Marty says:

Let me start off by saying that I enjoy Mike Gallagher. I feel he is one of the hardest working men in Erie media.
However, I don’t think we need to hear the self-serving “Whoa is me” laments during the opening of every single Midnight Mass broadcast.
You know, “I’d like to thank my wonderful children for holding down the fort while dad devotes so much time to do this color commentary of the mass (including instant replay of the recessional).
Mike, many people in broadcasting are away from their families on Christmas to do the weather, sports or some silly “live” shot from someplace where news occurred several hours earlier. Point is, “you” are not the event so refrain from making it all about “you”.

  8. Tim says:

    RawRowRaggy,

I’m just glad Mike Gallagher got through the Midnight Mass broadcast without talking about any of his “well documented” medical ailments he has suffered throughout the years.

Mike does a good job for WJET and some of his photos he shoots are exceptional. However, no one cares about his personal life. Mike would be best served to staop talking about himself. Being the strict Roman Catholic he is, Mike should realize that “vanity” and “ego” are sins.
