Poll: Where do you get your sports news?

In last weeks poll, we asked about cellphone usage among our readers. We found that our P&T readers are strong adopters of mobile technology, with almost half carrying a smart phone with a email and web data package. Another third at least had a cell phone with texting capabilities.

This week, with the baseball playoffs on and the NFL & NHL seasons in full thrust, let’s put our ball caps on:

Most often, where you get your sports news?

  • Online Websites/Blogs (39%, 17 Votes)
  • Cable Sports (ESPN/ESPN 2/ESPNews/ESPN U/ESPN Classic/ESPN Desportes/Fox Sports Ohio/Pittsburgh) (32%, 14 Votes)
  • Local Radio (ESPN 1260/Fox Sports 1330) (11%, 5 Votes)
  • Local Television Stations (11%, 5 Votes)
  • Local Newspaper (Erie Times News, Meadville Tribune) (7%, 3 Votes)
  • Sports Magazines (Sports Illustrated, Sporting News) (0%, 1 Votes)

    I get my sports info from the local TV newscasts in Erie
