It should come as no big surprise that in the never-ending quest for higher ratings, our national news outlets have resorted to a "studio wrestling" approach to journalism.
Least we forget where Bill O'Reilly started...as the host of Inside Edition!
I am all for heated debate and exchange of ideas but on the same caliber as the late great Tim Russert or Sam Donaldson and Cokie Roberts.
Who in the world ever decided that sports guys make good political foder among the intelligencia? Keith Oberman? What's next? Vince McMann and Triple "H" on the convention floor?

It also spreads to other on air personalities at MSNBC. Last week Joe Scarborough (former Republican Congressman from Florida and host of "Morning Joe") lost it during an exchange with MSNBC reporter David Shuster. Apparently Shuster referred to Scarborough's republicans as "your party" to which Scarborough got into a 7 minute diatribe with Shuster in which he questioned what party Shuster was a member of.

After Shuster replied "I am an independent" Scarborough retorted "wonder how many people who work at MSNBC are Independents!"

I'm waiting for an on air fistfight to break out between Matthews and Olbermann! Talk about "Must See TV!"

Congratulations. Great site. very needed in our area as well as elsewhere. The media needs a good kick in the pants now and then as a reminder of what their true function in society should be~Honest, factual, unbiased reporting. Thanks for taking the time to do such a good job!
