Selina Wiles is a good replacement for Karla. I agree that her transitions are strong. Some of the younger reporters/weather people can learn from her already!

I think that Ms. Wiles is the perfect addition to the Action News team. She has a genuine charm. She is an articulate reader and conversational in her tosses to reporters and co-anchors. Now, the real test of anchor muster will come on election night. This format traditionally provides very few scripts, much ad libbing and reliance on information that is not scripted. I find that election night is the true test of a news anchor’s ability whether in the field or on the set. My best wishes to Ms. Wiles at face value a refreshing addition to the local news scene.
